Cool build and off to a great start. Will be interesting to learn a thing or 2 about these Choppers.

I tend to clean the chrome with wire wool, and a small brass brush on the little things, but what I do is make sure I keep the items dry so that it's just rust powder coming off and nothing gooey lol.

Afterwards I give them a once over with glass polish

Fenders are looking much better

When I have a spare hour or two I will sit down and keep at the underside of the front one with a flathead screwdriver and I should get rid of more of the deeper rust

Seat post was nice and easy to clean

Great polishing work! I've personally found 0000 steel wool still leaves scratches, so I've avoided it. I use balled up aluminum and hot water, then a polish. But if it's really rough I'll attack it with a copper scrub.

Today I decided to look at what parts I cleaned up and put them on the frame to keep everything in one place

Got a busy few weeks at the moment, so for now back in the shed it goes till next month when I pick out a day to get it welded back together
