Count me in.
Starting with a 1974 stingray frame opaque original color(several coats of rattle can on top) Forks with springer out of neighbors trash. Junior low rise ape hangers. Girls flower seat. Still brain storming and going thru inventory for wheels and smalls thinking about paint colors. First step will be strip/sand/prime painted parts.
I wIll continue to post pics as I move forward.

Love the mags. I've seen 2 different goodwill bikes with these, Trying to figure out how to use a set. Your build is giving me some inspiration.

EDIT: these are later mongoose, box store type bike.

This will be my first time using a set. I typically do stingrays and try keep them as original as possible with in a budget. With this contest build I decided try a few different things and use some non stingray parts I had.

That's my motto on these builds in general 'try a few different things and use some non (original / bike) parts' . Looks like you are having fun...that's the key!
