Christmas day,and a great day to build the board rack...
Starting with 2 x kids 18' or 20' forks, the bmx stem and the old chair.

These chairs are excellent for metal parts.

Boxing Day ;;;;;

Mount the box
The plate
paint the rack
Brakes
Retouch the paint (the horse knocked the bike over, and marked the frame)
I think this list is never ending. Like 2 steps forward,1 step back...

I really like how the wheels and tires look and the fenders is just awesome
Thanx Jamie, I thought it would better with 2 colored wheels...

For a bike that was suppose to be easy,it sure is making me pull my hair out...:arghh::crazy:
I decided that ,I disliked the bent seat post,so I went with a straight one.I cut from the same chair,a longer post.Stuck it in and now cant get it out. It means that only I can ride the bike:headbang:.Great to ride to the beach, but I feel like a clown. So today I will come up with another idea,as this is for a kid to ride, not me... From now on no more 20" bikes unless kids ask.So next years build-off?Will be a giant muscle bike.
Mounted front brakes(added safety)As recently I lost hydraulic front n rear brakes going down a steep hill on my scooter.:arghh:
I aimed it at a old stone wall, managed to stop n stay on. With shopping still onboard.
But cracked the plastic casing that protects the fly wheel, and snapped all the blades.:arghh:
Still works, will go and collect parts from a dumped bike.
So todays work:
Mount box
rear brakes
seat post AGAIN!
paint touch ups.

I want to be finished today,as we are having wonderful weather, and I want to ride it to the beach for pics...

The day started off beautiful, then, clouds then rain, then sun, then clouds, then rain...
But I am FINISHED !!!!
Yeah sing.

I'm having the same trouble it's been raining the past few days and not sure when it will clear up to bad we can't swap weather with Luke seems he was looking for wet weather.
Crack up.Luke can make his rain, just turn the sprinkler on... I will just run down between spurts...I was going to go today, but the wind was to strong...

Interbreeding.
Crossed Bmx brakes with MTB brakes. Needed them to be wider and longer to fit around the tires. I could have just mounted v-brakes to the frame(but that would have been just to easy):crazy2::whistle::21:

Really loving the wooden accessories you made Funk, just awesome!

Luke.
Thanx Luke. In the end I might end up flaking the bike after the comp(when the weather has improved).
Just need some pics now...

9.30 in the morning here.
I see some blue sky n a bit of sun trying to peek throu...
Winds up to 40mph
7'c (feels like 1'c)
Everything is sopping wet, more rain on the way.
So here goes riding down to the beach will be easy.As the wind will push me,+ all downhill.
On the way back is another story...
I can do this,
I think I can
I think I can
I think I can...
