Mental block! PLease help!!!

Here is my next project. Western Flyer w/evans springer. I want to do a gloss paint job and rechrome or powder coat front end. Probably painted fenders. Throw out some ideas on paint schemes, i am stuck on this one for some reason.

howdy what i think would be really cool is black with red pinstriping and like the fork black with red truss rods just my :idea:

The red and black is one idea i had. What about the chain guard, red or black? I like the idea about the red truss rods. I will get the rat trap out in the mail on Monday.

That fork is sweet. I don't think I've seen one like it. If it was chrome, and you can afford it then re-chrome them. I am not the best person to ask color advice. Too many black ones (all finishes), primer is cool but getting a bit prevalent as well. I would lean to an elegant color to go with that very elegant fork. Dark green, deep red, royal blue? what is the original color?

Because it has a clean, space-age look to it, how about clean gloss white throughout with chrome fork trusses, and all original parts rechromed (only the parts that were originally chrome)? That would look rather nice... You could go with chrome or white fenders, ballooner or middleweight, personally I think middleweight chrome rims with whitewalls, gloss white thoughout and chrome pieces as accents would look beautiful. Do you have the tank for this frame? A tank would really look nice too. Whatever you do, it is bound to be cool because that is a great project frame.

hmm. i say cream or tan base, and maybe that kind of blue or maybe dark green scallops. and the gaurd would get sane treatment. the forks i say have cream or tan base, same blue or same green colored springs, and maybe some accents of the same color. i would definitly at least chrome the truss rods and cups the springs rest in. i dont know how those springers dissasemble, so i hope you know what i mean.

I like the white and off white suggestions as much as mine. They are "feelin" the elegance of this bike that I am.

very dark blue/midnight blue with chrome forks, chrome handlebar stem, chrome seatpost, chrome chainguard, chrome fenders and wheels, matching paint on handlebars and chain-ring
just a thought, you cud also invert the sheme and have the chrome parts blue and the paint parts chrome
