Okay back to the build…Thinking of using these wheels I built up a couple years ago. For a muscle bike build, drum brakes 12g spokes real strong and beefy looking.. I’ve got a different set of tires on the way.
Thanks for all the support.

I remember that killer wheelset.
Congrats on S.O.S. (Son Of Skipton) earning his degree! BRAVO!!!

How's it rolling?

Thanks for checking on me @kingfish254
I did get some nice 26x3 tires, that make the Fat Frank’s look small. Had to do the crimp chainstay trick. But tires fit nice now. I do like how tall and fat these tires are…. Lots more to come soon.
Thanks for looking

Yep 26x3
Thanks guys I do really like the way they fill out the frame and make the thick triple tree fork fit proportionally.
I got a good deal on these two tires and 2 tubes for less then hundred bucks.. I did screw up and had them sent to my old Chicago apartment. Lucky for me my youngest lives a few blocks away and was able to grab them 🤣

I think the seller made a mistake on the price
Now selling for $195

I think you've answered this age old question with those tires!!
Killer addition to this build!

Going with this Hawthorne frame threadless fork fits perfectly. Whole lot more come quickly

That Snyder frame looks like a good choice. Do you know what year it is? Or the serial number? I'm trying to match the dropouts to time frame for my research.

BTW, Those Duro 3 inch tires ride great for a big tire.
