On a Monark Silver King, are the bars pressed into the cast parts or are they attached by an internal/hidden screw or bolt? Does anyone have a photo of that?
Thanks in advance!

CeeBee said:I am pretty sure they are pressed in then pinned with a steel rod. I will go take a look at mine and verify it for you.

Yes it is. But I'm thinking BO9 already!!

That's not a problem. No money, no time to work on it. But I can think for free and plan for it!
outskirtscustoms said:Yeah I can relate to that.
Rockit! said:If that was mine I would cast a new rear section and weld it on!
outskirtscustoms said:Since the whole rear section needs to be re-fabricated I'd stretch it a bit.

It won't get a stretch, per se, but it will have a longer wheelbase than original.
