While trying to purchase a set of the adapters I found, and the ones Tank found, it seems both have been discontinued. I did find them listed on another website, pardon my spelling, but I think you will get the idea....www.starfoockers.shop-pro.ip/?pid=37683292. But I don't know enough Japanese to say how much they are. The website states 5260 yen?????

Manuel is also rocking Paul-Neo Retros ($100)Canti's. You would need to find a old school design that sticks out like that. DiaCompe has old or new ones.

Bill, Those Techtro's are perfect, Especially with the wide cable hanger.

Those split shaft collars are not cheap, and if I have to weld on them I might as well weld on the frame.

I can get them for $5.65 for ones the right size to use on the forks or $5.35 for the seat stays, not to costly if you ask me.

I just put some 26x3.5 Sunlite Crushers on...those combined with the 20t rear cog and lean back seat post makes for a really smooth ride on pavement. It actually moves along quite a bit better than I thought it would, that also has a lot to do with the smaller overall diameter of the Crushers as well.

I like the Sunlite Crushers, just not sure I'm 'feeling' the thin whitewall. I think if it came in blackwall or a wide whitewall, I'd be more on board.....but then again.... I'm not sure I want to drop $100 for tires on my 'cheap' Walgoose ( for now anyway )

I was on the fence with the thin white walls but they look great in person. It's sort of a vintage plus sporty blend if that makes any sense. I found them online for $33 a piece plus $6.75 shipping for the two. I know that still isn't exactly cheap, but it's better than $50 a piece. I tell you what though, when you pull the stock tires off you feel like you're working at a Pep Boys or something...haha

I've actually always liked thin white walls so the Sunlite tires worked out great for me.

It was quite a contrast when I held a stock tire in one hand and a Sunlite tire in the other.

What's funny is that I set the stock tires over in the corner of the garage and I keep seeing them thinking...why are those car tires over there? :lol:

A second later I remember they aren't car tires at all.
