Motorcycle Grips on regular 7/8" bars

Just wondering what experiences people have had with using two (2) left hand motorcycle grips on their bikes. I have been looking at those spiked motorcycle grips that are on eBay for cheap.

the grips should work. when i got grips for my yamaha i tried the left side grip on my bike to see how it looked and fit fine. i also converted a dirt bike to a thumb throttle and used bmx grips on it. as long as the O.D. is 7/8 of the grips they will fit.

I just bought 2 sets of motorcycle grips like that. The 2 right hand (AKA The bigger throttle side) grips are going on a custom set of 1" bars I'm using on my next build. The others will end up on something I'm sure...

Not sure if the picture will work or not but I ordered two pair of the spiked grips above. I can't wait for them to show up.

Hmm what will you do with the 2 spares? I was thinking fork tops or make them into shifter handles.
