Just picked this up on eBay not far from us, probably overpaid a bit but really wanted that deep bucket banana seat! The 3 ring chainring is unusual too!

Not sure if the seat or anything else will find it's way onto the build, but nice to have more options! Be an interesting gender flip bike for a project later on...

It is actually an Aussie built Repco I believe, they were doing the 3 piece cotter pin style from very early on... They can be a pain to remove! :shock:

Had this beast for a while, used it as a daily till I ungraded, fitted a 20 inch motor bike to it,
never liked the frame so this muscle build she faces the chop, well the angle grinder at least!

I hope you have seen Sheldon Brown's suggestion for removing them, the cottered crank arm placed under the cottered crank arm on a solid surface to knock the tapered cotter down through, it works great!

I normally place it on a bench over the top of a socket, same principle I guess!
