My first "BUILD" - **Purple Nurple**

Take the chainguard off. Then the pedals and then the nut. Then use a screwdriver to tap the lock nut out. You have to turn them clockwise! It seems backwards put I think it is that way to prevent them from getting loose when you pedal. Then take the bearings out and slide out the crank. You can then tap out the bearing cups. If you need anything just text me.

It looks to be a different style of bottom bracket, like a 3pc euro setup?

Your right. I didn't look at the photo. I have not taken one of those apart. How's it done? I would have to see it up close to figure it out for myself.

WHen I get back from HRW, I'll take close up pics. It's a euro metric bike so that makes sense.

Well, shiznit. Turtle64 poked fun at me for disappearing but I can't figure out how to get the pedals off and the crank out. I started a thread in the How To forum. Here's the link for anyone who might have an idea....

UPDATE!!!

I'm still here. Purple Nurple is still in the works. Life has simply gotten in the way. :roll:

About time! Haha! I've almost got mine finished. Now I need to get back to working on my car. Going to see how hard it is to put the lowering springs in myself. Wish me luck!
