I don't know...it's an iPhone 4 and I'm just using the built in camera software. I don't even think I had HD on.

I get these rare moments where my iPhone snaps and really incredible shot. I took several other shots this evening and none of them came out this cool.

Yeah...big difference in camera quality between the 3GS and the 4...I've had both.

Looking forward to the iPhone 5....hopefully this fall when my contract expires!!!!

Did you follow her with the camera? What I mean is moving the camera while staying focused on her. That way you get that blur in the background while she stays in focus.

I wish I could say that I had a method that I used.

The truth is, my girls were flying up and down the alley trying to show off the tricks that they had been practicing and I pulled my phone out and just started snapping.

I may very well have been moving the phone when I shot it. The other shots in this series were mostly blurry so this was just one of those golden moments in photography for me.

Cool photo indeed. I can't believe you took that with an iphone.

Composition-wise, it is perfect. Rule of thrirds, check. "Lead In" lines, check. Subject in focus, backround brurred, check. Portrait photography 101.
