home made shims work grate and look descent. now I need to make or buy a new front bracket clamp. for the drum brake. stock ones made for a skinny Schwinn type fork. not a Fat SE fork leg. rear one will need a rubber shim its to wide. grips are some were in lost wages / the LV in rough to me. but I can ride it up and down the street now :D. still deciding on brake levers. have 2 sets to pick from. Shimano or LEE CHI

Shimano brakes are out. love the beat up patina. but the plastic bushings are shot. levers wobble way to much. after robing some other bushings from some Tech Tro's got the Lee Chi working good enough to use. could have went with new levers. but bikes screaming for longer style levers. than what most company's now make. grips do here to day. trying to figure out how to hook up the brake cable to the drum brake??? odd set up to me at any rate..

rides nice may need to cut a half inch off each side off bars. there wide going down sidewalks they are to close to light pols / signs . LOL and when riding on crowded beach bike paths. but over all really like this bike. Brooks seat is sweet. just tighten the front alien bolt to adjust how soft & springy or stiff seat is.
