Nail Polish paint job for spokes

I was looking for some golden spokes for my wheels for a long time but didnt find them. I went to some gold platin specialists but they said it will not work. So i think: Why not to paint them? But the "golden" spray that i found was not golden... it's more like a yellow. So i got this idea. What ink is cheap, durable and really golden? Nails Polish!
I some bought a golden one for U$1,5 in a drug store and gonna make some tests. When its done, i'll post some pics here.

Ahahaha! That's funny. I'd like to see how the wear and tear goes over time, but it looks cool now.

who cares...if it wears badly just spend $1 for another bottle of polish :wink:

Before it gets oily/grimy hit it with some spray clear; sure cant hurt.
