Put the springer on and got a cool stretch on the NDN. So long truss rods. I am still struggling witht the hard saddle bags or making a single leather saddle bag.

That sprung rat trap is perfect.
Still diggin the chainring inserts!!!
Seat looks cool too.
Wheel/tire combo looks sharp.
I would try to stick with the hard bags.
This is gonna be a contender.

totally agree all of the above ^^ .. must keep the bags ...original /practical /stylish = win

Messing with an idea for the rear fender. Want to get a feather look so will weld this to a piece of steel rod on the top side to look like a quil and spaced similar to the photo. Painted flat black or rusted may look cool.

I have been out of town, so have not had any time to build but I am watching all the cool builds moving along. I did get to find out how hot and humid San Antonio is. Now I know why Steve's bikes always look so much more rustier that mine. I should have some time this weekend to get the fender done so will post pics as soon as I can.

So this is my first run at welding and realized I am much better at grinding. I was able to carve some time out to work on the build and was able to work on the fender,chain and bar end caps. Soon as i get it mounted on I will post a pic.

Love the end grip detail. The fender is being built much different than I thought it would be, but that's good, 'cause then it doesn't look like I'm stealing when I do one the way I pictured it.
