No, nothing bad happened to me!
Just a pre-season car show at our local beach. My 1970 Bus made for 2 VW's at the show. Other oddities that departed from the usual Chev-Ford-Dodge fare included not one but TWO Citroen Deux Chevaux's (Deux Deux Cheveaux?), a Fiat 850 Spyder, a pair of straight-8 1950 Oldsmobiles (total coincidence), and a 1948 Willys pickup.
And THIS:
Technically, it's a REO truck. Mustang front suspension. Killer body chop. Airbagged. 100% fabricated frame. And that light green lump is a Detroit Diesel, folks. The driveshaft comes through a metal cage in the passenger compartment, about 8" off the floor, and a 5" diameter chrome stack rises above the right rear corner of the roof.
The end product of 4 years of work. What a sick ride!
