Been into the BMX scene since I was a kid. Raced '76-'82. When I started collecting, it was rebuilding bikes I owned at one time (or wanted to). Here's what's in the collection now. I've got a few Retro SE bikes as well.

I'm part of the M.O.T.O.S. club in Tulsa - we put on the vintage show at the USA BMX Grands every year here. Anyone wants to bring bikes to our show and catch the races, we're happy to help any way we can.

Dang, you've got a ton of really cool bikes Bill! While I don't know as much about BMX bikes as I do vintage cruisers and muscle bikes, I can tell you've got a sweet collection. I especially love the mint Yamaha Moto-Bike, the Kawasaki (which I never even knew existed,) the chrome Mongoose with the Moto-Mag wheels, and... I don't know what model that tan-and-brown one is, but the way the tubes all intersect is really unique.

Is the next show on May 13-15th? I just did a quick Google search, but I don't know if I'm looking at the right event or if the schedule changed.

Ok, thanks! I'll definitely want to check that out this year. I don't know if I have any bikes I can show that'd fit the criteria (I don't really own any BMX bikes,) but I'd be happy to bring some vintage cruisers if that's allowed. Otherwise, I'd be happy to just show up and check out the scene. Either way sounds like a lot of fun!

I'm gathering parts now to build something similar to the straight bar bike near the top. And I had a beat up Mongoose like the second photo. And I also got a little sick to my stomach seeing the PK Ripper. I had my original 1st year ripper frame and forks sored in my parents basement for 35+ years. Just found out last year that my mom gave it to my sister boyfriend because he needed some money and was heading to the recycling center and she didn't think I wanted or remembered an old aluminum bike frame that was nearly packed away. Sorry for the rant, I'm going to go cry myself to sleep again. Lol.
Seriously those are some great looking bikes and transported me right back to the late 70's through the mid to late 90's. And how hard me and the gang would go on those, surprise any of us survived it.
