My names Thomas I'm new to the forum but have been lurking for quite some time during my build. Heres my '62 schwinn american was told a '59 but found out otherwise.

the day i picked her up

Thanks guys shes already changing gonna make a build thread soon. I was figuring out a better way to mount the front basket so removal would be easier and simple. While doing that i ended up stripping the threads on the front axle. Waiting for a wald replacement to get here i had a black joytech/alex rims front spare with a kenda cumfort tire from a mountain bike build laying around. Now I'm thinking about painting the fork flat black and rocking that setup. It just looks really low and knarly. Plus im bidding on some 11" apes off ebay.
