Billn here - checking in from Tulsa. Been a vintage BMX collector for some time. Have a couple of rat bike projects going. Looking forward to poking around the site.

Restored. I had one as a kid and when bikes progressed, it went by the wayside. My pop and I decided to give to to Goodwill so some other kid could have a cool bike. When I started collecting, my pop found that bike - it was a basket case. We redid it together. It's one I'll never let go of.

This bike will NOT get painted - the patina is perfect, and can't bring myself to peel the "Billy's Boat and Bike Corral" dealer sticker. I'll use the Atom drum brake hub and the frame - the rest will be old school BMX parts. Just like we built as kids.

Yup - I grew up in St Louis Parkway West '82 baby! I use Sweetmeat as a kind of secret handshake to others from around there.

Sounds good. FYI - I'm part of the club that puts on the vintage BMX show at The Grands every year thanksgiving weekend at the Tulsa Expo. Always a good time and lots of cool BMX goodies to check out.

Awesome! Sounds like something I need to check out. I'm not much of a BMX guy, but some of those bikes are pretty cool, and I love seeing people do all sorts of tricks on those bikes. I'll keep that show in mind!
