hey all,
ive just set up and account for this website and even this early i am hooked.
everything ive seen this far has been awesome and inspired me heaps to start building bikes.
i have built a few old hot rod style bikes in the past but kept them fairly simple .
currently i have an old 'bratz' lowrider bike that is clapped out to the max. but i love it cause it screams rat rod me!
i do have a question, is there any way of lowering the front springer front end wityout buying extra parts ? any help would be muchly appeciated.

regards Ivan ( all the way from melbourne, australia)

how much are you lookin to lower it? If you lower it too much, the back of the bike might look funny if it's higher than the front. IMO!

i dont want to lower it tooo much. probly only 2-3 inchs? just so it sits flush with the rear. im not too fussed on ride ability. more the look. any help once again will be appreciated;

regards Ivan

pull the spring and cut it down a coil and see if that gets it where you want it...if not cut another off.......repeat as many times as necessary(i know most say dont cut coils and on a car i wouldnt but its a bike :wink: )
