You guys doin all these straight bar custom builds made me drag the ole welder out yesterday (Sunday). Went to cutting and grindin, had this here old Ripcurl frameset in my back shop for over a year now with no intentions of ever using it, I actually bought the whole bike complete to rob the wheels, tires, parts and pieces on sale from Target for about 90 bucks. I had an old girls mountain bike frame that I cut the down tube out of to complete the frame with straightbar welded in place. I did the body work on it and repainted it, came out pretty cool, loving the black and gold, bike rides super. I really like the low long feeling this frame has, feels fast with the 39/18 gearing on it, fun bike. 8)
