Took it out along the lakefront today, so much better riding with 7 gears instead of just one... its like night and day!

I really really like this bike. Modern drivetrain and touches on an vintage frame with a lot of style. It has a whole new life ahead of it. This will turn a lot of heads at the coffee shop because people will not be sure what they are looking at. Very Nicely done

This bike is dark and brooding, and I mean that as a big compliment. I have seen this frame worked and re-worked so many times that in the past that I thought I had see every possible set up. Thanks to your build I am eating my words, and a bit of crow. Love the murdered out color scheme and both the carbon fiber and modern touches. This bike is a keeper and I bet it will be draw crowds.

I wanted to say thanks to everyone for such kind words. Being a long time lurker here on the forums, I knew my first build would have to aspire to everything that I've seen here. It's such a great medium for us all to come together on and I hope my build inspires some ideas from others, as all of your builds helped inspire ideas for me.

Don't mind at all! That's what we're here for! It's a SRAM S7 rear hub, They don't make them anymore, but like mine they can be picked up secondhand... I thought I'd have to cold set the frame, but the hub is actually just narrow enough that it fit with just a little bit of force

Great ! I was checking the Nexus out, but would need to cold set the frame. Very nice build you did, love it !
