I have wanted a trike project for a while.
I picked up this Schwinn Meridian last night from a friend of mine that works at a local bike shop. He said it had been only ridden around a gym by some special needs adults that had eventually damaged it to the point that they decided to just buy a new one instead of fixing this one up any more.
Overall it's not that bad but it does need some work. One of the back wheels has bent and broken spokes. The front brake cable is wrecked. The cable for the rear brake is also destroyed. The rear chain needs to be replaced. The fenders are missing. There is also a possibility that the frame might be slightly bent. But, I'm totally stoked! :mrgreen:
The best part is that the price was FREE!
