Now she's got a BMX

Jenna got her first rat with the completion of Maine Woods in the Build Off. Now she has her first 20" BMX. I couldn't go new (of course), so I went retro. Not sure on the make of the frame, but the chainguard came off my first BMX back in 1977. She loves it. Make me happy.

Had the "pleasure" this afternoon of teaching my little daughter, Audrey (5) the finer art of the coaster brake. Not overly successful, but progress nonetheless.

Looks like a Huffy kickstand mount. Don't take this as a knock, but it seems a much more desirable ride for a kid, especially a girl. A bit safer as well.

Not a "knock". She loves the looks and idea of the rat bike, but this is now her "daily driver". As long as she enjoys being on two wheels, we're good.
