Okay…take two!

I tried to post this this morning….quick synopsis:
Wanted a vintage Schwinn run-a-bout
Was not willing to pay a grand for one
Had a Rollfast Skate (or Scoot for those who feel persnickety about it)
For about 50.00 procured a vintage quick release handlebar stem and seat stay.
Switched out some wheels from a kids bike and wasn’t too sure about the aesthetic (maybe I’ll go back sans fenders)
Decided since sitting on 16” wheels will still not allow it to fit in the mini (without rearranging some stuff in the car) I went back to 20” for now….

20" would probably be best, do the pedals scrape with 16"? More tire selection at 20" also.

Actually believe it or not they don’t. I owe Kingfish an apology of sorts. I actually tried to use the fork from that 16” and at that point it would have. But I wanted to keep it as original as possible believe it or not for the fork darts (even if it was a save from being part of a “sculpture”). But admittedly 20” would probably be better due to my wanting to eventually add hand brakes that would actually fit with few modifications. And oddly enough I’ve got a few colour variations in tires for both sizes. But I’m going to possibly roll on what I’ve got.

Oh and it fits in my other conveyances sooooo I’m not too discouraged

Took her out for a beta test today and aside from being a single speed (on inclines) she rolls so much better on 20”s
