Double Nickle said:looking at 46-47-48. Defiantly Murray built. What you have is a thrown together early post war bicycle. Sears had a lot of bike orders to fill so many were thrown together with mixed and leftover parts.
This is when you find Columbia, Monark, Ross, etc. badged J.C. Higgins. Sears badged anything Higgins to fill the Christmas orders after the war.
I'll take a look at my Elgin/Higgins book to look for this model.
