My first Park Tool was a big butt Pedal Wrench! I haven't met a rusty pedal since that I couldn't break loose with little effort. And you've gotta have cone wrenches anyways - might as well buy the best! Robert

The Park PW-4 is one of the greatest bicycle tools of all time! 8)

I have just had another great experience with Park Tool.

I "Like" their page on Facebook and get updates. They have some contests where you simply comment or share for a chance to win a tool. Earlier in the summer when they released the CT-3.2 (newly updated chain tool with a moving shelf) I won one of them from them. I already owned a CT-3, but having another meant one could stay in the shop and one travel.

I was using it last week and I felt like the movable shelf was a little loose, I had seen nothing in the instructions to address the new shelf, so I grabbed an allen key to tighten it up, the allen head broke. Crap!

I snapped a photo of the tool and e-mailed it to Park Tool. Before I sent the message I checked the website to make sure I was using the right terminology when I noticed a note about the new tool saying that trying to tighten down the shelf could break the tool, I took that as a disclaimer, but I sent the message anyway affirming that I had just seen the warning and it was totally my fault that the tool broke.

This was their reply:

"Please keep the “T” handle as a spare, and recycle the casting.

Your replacement will ship this week."

Followed by a FedEx shipping confirmation.

AWESOME TOOLS, AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

They also sell bottle openers and they are cool, but more of a novelty.

WWHHAAA??? the BO-1 is the most important tool we have at my shop..we use it at the end of each workday..to open our "reward" for a hard day's wrenchin'...

I've got the BO-3

I probably should add a disclaimer to that last joke.. Please realize its coming from a lifelong Baptist who heard all my best Baptist drinking jokes from my youth minister back in the day.

Nah, it's all good. I was raised in a Southern Baptist home, I heard the jokes too. My folks didn't drink and I was never around drinking, but I wasn't sheltered from the damaging effects of drunkeness (notice I didn't say having a drink).

As a youth pastor I have to watch what I do, but I am not against anyone of age drinking, as long as the goal or outcome is not being drunk.

Back on track, the BO-3 is a keychain sized bottle opener that looks like a small Park Tool come wrench, the opening is 10mm. Very cool gift for $5.

I have an entire box dedicated to park Tools and have never broken one, maybe it's time I do cause I never got stickers with the tools!!!!!!
Park tools are simply the best for your dollar investment.

Go to the website, fill out the form and ask for some stickers, they should hook you up, unless a thousand people read this and try it all in a few days... that might sour the deal.
