I didn't have time to do this build last year, so I'll take another swing at it. I am doing a gut and clean of a 1971 Rollfast 'Skoot'. I am trying to get it together to sell this weekend. If that goes according to plan, then I may try and put a step-through together for the other build off.

This is how I left it...

And here it is now...

I just finished greasing the BB and puting the crank assembly together. Hoping to have it together today or tomorrow. My custom work is mainly aesthetic, using accessories. This will definitely not be as intricate as 'WINONA RIDER'.

Finally found a compatible wedge. The stem cleaned up pretty well.

I got the seatpost polished up and the seat mounted as well. Waiting to tighten everything down 'til I get it on wheels.

So I have a 20" Bendix 76 ready to rock, however it's that 1 3/4 rim size.

I have a compatible tire, but I want to use the zoetrope slick I made last year (which won't fit). I have a compatible rim with a Bendix 76 hub, but it doesn't have guts. So now I gotta do an organ transplant.

Awesome bike! You're cruising right through this project. At this rate I don't think you'll have any problems meeting your deadline or selling it this weekend. Thankfully I don't live closer because I don't really need another bike at the moment... Like that's really a thing.
