Peugeot´s new life

Friend of mine cried to me that he needs bike for summer. Easy, goodlooking, fast and mad cheap.
So i went to local recycle center and took this old rusty peugeot with me. First i was going to paint it. Some classic two color scheme in my mind, but
after i cleaned it up, i figured, that it´s cool that time and patina shows.
Lot´s of steelwool and couple of nice summerdays later, i gave it to my friend who just loved it! He sayed that this is much better that he never imagined:
Bicycle with personality.
Well it´s light, fast and fun to ride. Mission complished
Next i have to build something musclebikeish to he´s wife.

Nice build. I'd pull the pie plate off the rear wheel if it was my bike, but I can understand leaving it in place if you're giving it to someone who might not be into doing the maintenance...
