I dont know what section to put this in , so here it is , I would like to see some pics of a 65 Columbia Playbike nice original or restored I haven't had any luck finding an early one on any museum picks ect... I need to see the paint details....thank you Jim G.S.C.

Isn't that the "original" paint?......You need the correct tires. Did you get the chain guard?.......I remember that bike like it was yesterday..........I grew up in low income housing projects, and I was sooooo jealous of my neighbor, that had that identical bike (color). Your posting has brought back so many memories.............I'm watching all your posts on this bike!

Not sure what year mine is, but...

It seems like the earlier ones had the blade fork but the paint on mine is the original paint, on the seat tube I can vaguely see the columbia logo in white over the purple. I bought this one from the original owner and it has been in this area all of its life. I still need a chainguard, reflector, and the headbadge....as the one I have doesn't line up (it mounts horizonal and I need vertical)And here's another photo on the coaster brake arm and the Id Number

It's amazing at all the strange muscle era 20" bikes I've seen on this forum. Growing up and living in the middle of Schwinn country, I've never even heard of a Columbia Play Bike until today. Gary
