So far you're in 8th place, out of 106... Don't know if I'd call that "getting robbed". Right now I'm TWO votes behind you and I am absolutely blown away at the amount of votes I have recieved....I NEVER expected to get this many. I really am humbled.

True rat rod bikes have a hard time winning the big one.

It all comes down to forum rules, we just can't talk about it! haha It's cool though, we would never agree on it anyway and it would tear us apart. I've learned alot more on this site because we all have different views about what a rat rod bike is than I would have if we all had the same definition.

No questioning the fact you have an awesome bike, but this post sounds a bit whiny. You are getting a high number of votes, just not the most votes. Hell, I thought Mash Banger had the best build out there and he only has 27 votes. I dont see him or others on here crying. I'm not trying to start anything, but just sayin' someone needs a Time Out.

I am totally cool with people being excited about getting votes. I have 7 more votes than I thought I would get (my total is 7) and I am ready to pop a keg!

I think you have to make sure you cast all three of your votes after you've selected one bike. I think the system just registers that you voted no matter how many you choose.

On the issue of asking people to hold off on discussing what a Rat Rod is....it had to be added to the forum rules otherwise every other new guy that joins the site would bring this topic up and drive us all crazy.

Just because I haven't been to a dentist for about 12 years, doesn't mean I have bad teeth, it actually means I have GREAT teeth, so you'll be waiting a while for these to come out... unless I should be expecting a punch in the face. :shock:

My vote is in. Decided to go with my definition of Rat Rod which is: the use of unusual and different parts to create the final result.
My 2 cents is to keep the voting. you should not feel bad because some people take this hobby to seriously.

As a forum owner with a build off coming up I am considering a "no voting" build off kinda like tee ball where everyone gets a trophy for playing. This way no ones work is graded by a number. They present their best and offer no explanation.

Steve I feel your pain and mine has not even started yet.

Next years build ...... you have to build a bike and a trophy , then your trophy will be randomly selected to go to someone in the build , win win

I am happy with my 17 votes... Why? Because it means that at least 17 people plus me like my bike... Out of all the great builds there are... The fantastic workmanship... People have chosen mine as one they like among the 3 choices they are given... This means alot to me...

Think we need to focus on praising each other on our work and what an awsome and talented group we are and not so much on the little checkmarks we place in the box.. 8)
