I am happy with my 17 votes... Why? Because it means that at least 17 people plus me like my bike... Out of all the great builds there are... The fantastic workmanship... People have chosen mine as one they like among the 3 choices they are given... This means alot to me...

Think we need to focus on praising each other on our work and what an awsome and talented group we are and not so much on the little checkmarks we place in the box.. 8)

I feel you Goon, this was my first build and one of the best parts (other than ending up with a fun ride) was the providing and receiving support, encoragemenet, and respect with my fellow build brothers and build sisters. I think we all feed off of the amazing ideas and talent that were shown during this build off. Bravo to everyone!!!!

I say we keep the voting. Some of us love the friendly competition and as long as we can keep it real and laid back, it pushes us to build better and cooler bikes. If the voting disappeared, I think some would miss that "push" you get when you're in competition and trying to out-do or out-create each other. If you take the voting to seriously, I think you might be in the wrong forum!

I just love looking over my past builds in other build off years and seeing my own personal improvement on the bikes I've built and it's kinda' fun to see my vote count improve too. Plus, like everyone says "If you like to ride it, you just won..."

It also makes me chuckle every year that this same discussion happens about voting, winning, gerry-mandering etc. :lol:

Oh, and... what happens in a tie for 6th? I mean, that's the important race, right? :wink:
