WOW! What an OUTSTANDING group of bikes!
Wish my entry that did not get done ( or hardly started, the last couple of months time and energy was spent buying a new ( to me, but it is nearly 100 years old) house), was standing with this outstanding group of bikes and builders. What a show. GREAT JOB, RATRODBIKES.

Relax? No way. Seeing all these bikes has given me so much inspiration, that I am planning to get right back to building! :lol: The Hot Rod Higgins needs a couple of brothers and maybe even a sister! I've got a couple of cool frames and a Higgins beehive fork sitting in the garage just waiting. Also heading up to Memory Lane this morning to gather up some new pieces, parts, bikes! :mrgreen:

There are four members here that I must thank. I don't know your names, and I never lose a night's sleep wondering who you are, but a grateful, heart-felt "Thank You!" I offer for you casting one of your three votes for Brightliner.

As other builders have said, I'm not in it for the finish place or the prized awarded for a spot in the final poll....at least not THIS year! I had a blast! My only regret was that I didn't pace myself or document the build better. I get impatient and get busy, forgetting to provide visual documentation of my work. That, too, will change next year!

So now, I get to ride a really cool bike around town and at the car events I attend. Look for me out there...I'm the one with a grin you cant wipe off!

So many cool bikes, so few votes to cast equals a very difficult task. Very appreciative of the votes my bike received to date. Voted for one of the higher placed bikes and a couple of mid range.
Mine started as a pair of tires I bought on a whim at a LBS with no intended purpose. Along came this Build-Off and with some left over parts and a few additional found items along the way Hammered Higgins came together. Well on a trip to Alaska a couple of weeks ago I found another unique set of tires...ready for 2013, I think. Now the parts search can begin.

Just wanted to say thanx to whoever voted or considered voting for my build "special delivery". I wasn't even sure I could compete with alot of these awesome bikes but threw my hat in anyway. I am not a competitive person by nature so entering this contest was only for fun and to show the rest of the community here I had a little talent and ingenuity. I like to network with like minded people and seeing that there is a creative bike community that exists is prize enough for me. So congrats in advance to the winner (which looks to be fordsnake) and everyone else who contributed their creativity.
