My GT P/P 26" in WOW colors, these were all the colors available in 1986 on one bike. I originally bought it on sale with the intention to blast & powder coat it to make a "flying banana" Fiola tribute bike...but the crazy colors are growing on me. Might change up the seat & grips to green & leave the paint alone. Lots of good factory stuff on this bike, Power Series cranks, mallet stem, 4130 cromo F/F etc...

I should have known it was 61. Only the skipper had that white trim on the headtube and wasn't a twin bar frame in 62, only the new Typhoon was.

That catalog picture shows the straight double bar frame for Skipper

But the text says Twin Bar

^both of those bikes came up in a "61 Skipper" search. No wonder there's confusion over production year(s) for the twin bar style Schwinns!
