My buddy worked for the CSX in Cumberland MD. I've done a bunch of train watching with him in Maryland,Pennsylvania and the midwest. He now works for the Metro North RR that serves from Grand Central station in NYC up the coast to Conn. and upstate NY.
I love finding old train yards and railroad ghosts from the past. I'll dig up and post some of my pics later.

I know Ive seen a few "coins" and a few other small items, My mom has a coal bucket, and one of those four way lamps that has the red and green lenses, maybe used for a switch?
One interesting thing I did find was a Mechanix Illustrated Golden Hammer award, its like a tie tac, pretty cool. Im trying to find out what he did to earn it. Its probably one of those reader submission project things, wish I could find the issue it was in... that would be awesome!!
