Correct. A larger wheel will LOOK cool but ride way worse if your trail is already close to zero. On a bicycle 6" is an easy trail. Easy measure is straight thru the headtube to the ground, should point about 4 to 6 inches ahead of the spot the front tire sits on. See, the tire "trails" behind to spot where the fork points. Bikes (& motorcycles) with a larger front wheel have a steeper headtube to account for the trail.You should try a smaller wheel. A bigger wheel raises the front and leads to more rake.
