Don't know what I'm doing, gonna do it anyway.
Found an axle mount stand in the pile.
Put it on, and just had to see the wheelbase of this next to the Nova.
Then I went for a ride.
Had to get the typical rail bridge shot.
Then I realized, handlebars like this should have firing buttons...
...For playing Space Invaders with the geese at the park.

It's to bad the geese aren't very visible, but maybe that's cuz I'm good at this game.

People are still telling me I should paint it.
I could, but I like it as is. Besides, I'll build a less junkyard version at some point. I can paint that one.
Still trying to decide if I want the mirror back on. The only good place to mount it is the fork.

If you're going to build a bike from a junk pile, you may as well take pics of it by a junkyard.
I couldn't get into the yard without a couple steaks for the guard dogs.
And personally, if I buy steaks they'll be for me not the dogs.
I'm really gonna have to decide soon about the mirror. I need it to see behind me, but it sticks off the fork and I'm not sure I like the look.

I didn't like how it looked, but I had an idea for it that I'll use on version 2.

I'm actually surprised by the comments I received on this thing.
It's basically a prototype for me to decide if I wanted this style of recumbent, turns out I do. But version 2 will sit a little higher, I scrape curbs.
Looks like a fun rig to tool around on...great job free-styling on this one.

Thanks, it is fun. But the part where people stop me to ask about it is new. Makes the ride last longer though.
