Hate to be the guy with a nitpicking question as to the rules, but does a model have to be involved in the build, or could the whole thing be scratch built? I would of course use scrap pieces, odds and ends, etc., but no model kits would be involved.

Deven, would you use pieces from model kits that you could 'identify' to a certain degree? Yes, it can be mostly scratch, but if you could at least say something like ' front fender from a '67 Chevell kit' for a few of the parts that might be good.

I don't want to deter anyone this being the first time around! Jump in the pool!

hey @Jake Sensi , don't go into ninja mode just yet.

Is there a Class II? I think I started this at lunch or something

Did the kit 'unboxing' tonight. Sorry, no long drawn out detailed description of that process like you would get on Youtube from the 'experts'. Upon first look at the two kits, one thing came to mind; they share some of the same 'lines'.....

I'm thinking how that fender and that leg could somehow be part of one in the same. What's that word, "Anthropomorphism"? When you attribute human characteristics to objects or things.

And this witch's hat has to go. I mean, this is the 21st Century. There has to be a more appropriate head dressing for a 'witch' in this era. That pointy hat is so " '60s".

Finally, I think I may have bit off more than I can chew. When I bought this '32 Ford model at Hobby Lobby, I forgot to read the box.

JACKWAG'N
Spent some time today epoxying the head to the spine/body of my monster, then I laid down a basecoat of green to test it out. Am going to cut some off the bottom to fit him into the hole planned for the roof of the Vega before I start attaching more delicate bits like arms, hands, etc...

Wait... while I don't do models, I do have a model project that I barely started many moons ago, but abandoned. It maybe could be adapted for this build. If I can even find the pieces.
