I re acquired my old cruiser from a friend after ten years of storage. Looks just like it did when I left it but a few more scratches. I originally acquired this frame from an old service manager of mine back in 2001. It was flat black and built as a Klunker with bull-moose handlebars, drum brakes, and a 12 speed drivetrain. I converted it back to a cruiser with full fenders and installed a AMP research suspension fork. I called it modern springer technology as the damper was blown and felt like a pogo stick!

Ten years later its back in my possession and I am wondering what it was/is. I believe from what research I have done it is a Columbia from '56, but would like a little confirmation on that. Wondering what to do with it, restore it since '56 was the year my mom was born and she recently passed, rat out similar to how I had it done before, or build for the ORBO since it was a Klunker when it first came into my possession.

And the AMP Research fork I had on it:

Let me know what you guys think!

I'd do the Klunker also.

Stick that fork back on it with some harder springs and enter the Off Road Buildoff currently in progress. You've got until April 1st to finish. :comando:
