Hello,
I'm trying to adapt a more modern coaster brake rear wheel, to have a skip tooth gear. (basically a newer wheel onto a 50's Schwinn frame)
Do the old skip tooth sprockets thread on to, or mount the same as newer sprockets?
Are they a similar dimension, etc.?

I picked up a wheel that someone had taken a skip tooth cog and spot welded to a newer driver for a regular and newer coaster hub to it. They made have had to grind on the skip tooth cog to get it on there. It worked well for me, and I also transferred the guts to another new hub for a build off bike.
