Sometimes the injection molding process hiccups, and less-than-perfect grips are made. I’ll be posting pairs for sale here with pictures of the defects. Some may require a larger whack than usual to put on due to out-of-roundness.
Normally these sell for $20 shipped when perfect. Defect pairs are $11 shipped. I’m just trying to recoup some material cost.
This pair has some voids and micro cracks on the end.

Rather than start a new thread…
I found a few more rejects. First up, these two are bicycle size (7/8” ID). They will cost $12 shipped in US. If perfect they are currently selling for $26 and soon will be $34 (manufacturing and material costs are skyrocketing).
Note the end of one is a little malformed.
Lastly, these three are 1” ID. THEY DO NOT FIT BICYCLES. They fit throttle sleeves. Or, like me, you can use them for an implement like a snowblower. You’ll have a spare. $13 shipped.
The white is mold release. It wipes off.
Slight deformations on these.
Keep in mind Ground shipping for these is approx. $6.50 of the cost. So good deal here.
