Ribbed bike tires

I saw some ribbed tires at ICHIBIKE in Des Moines, Iowa today and I thought that they were Duro Tires, but I might be confused, because that is what the majority of tires they sold there are.Anyone know what I'm talking about? I can't find any Ribbed Bike Tires on the Net anywhere. Could use some help. By Ribbed tires, I mean continuous lines around the tires with no intersecting lines.
