To all the CWC guys out there. I understand why you like Roadmasters so much because this thing is top notch. Such a solid smooth comfortable ride.

Love the condition it's in. Light and horn work perfect.

I now have the match to my girlfriends bike.

1950 I think?

Side note...

Two very effect inexpensive subtle modifications.

1/2 inch vinyl cap on the bottom of your kickstands and heat shrink tubing in the truss rods where the light touches.

Good Grief Tyler! You are just now getting a CWC? You nailed it right on the head - a CWC is maybe the most solid ride you will ever have unlike some manufacturers bikes that ride like tin cans (who I won't mention). That is also my favorite top bars configuration. A straight bar frame is a little too simple - the bent tank frame is a little awkward on the tail end but these 3 gill frame bikes are sleek with great styling from one end to the other. That is also my favorite CWC Chain Guard from that era - it compliments the sleek look perfectly. The only possible upgrade is a Shockmaster Springer Fork. Once you've ridden one you'll know why us CWC guys say they ride like Cadillacs - like no other springer and it won't bottom out.

I'm curious about the head badge. It looks devoid of color - like polished brass. I have one just like it on my RRBBO5 Bike - mine had no paint on it, just tarnish. So I polished her up and gave it a clear coat. It's just that that bike looks so original why would it have that head badge on it - badge collector maybe?

Do the truss rods hit the tank when you let the fork swing all the way around? The Shockmasters beat the crap out of the tanks - that tubing idea couldn't hurt any. Guess I don't need to tell you to have fun - you already figured that out. BTW - your bike wins the Chain Ring Styling Award next to your girlfriend's bike. Plainest looking sprocket ever. Have Fun! Hey thanks! This is actually my first postwar CWC that I've added to the collection. I've had others but all have been for resale.

I checked the numbers and believe it's a '50.

Hi! Yes, I saw the Super on another Fresh Find thread - excellent find. I had a Super that someone had painted black and red and missing parts but on the way to finding the parts I got bored with the straight bar frames from the 50s and sold them all. Right now I'm selling 40s parts. Have Fun with your new toy! Robert
