rookie PayPal question

Ok, so I have a PayPal account connected to my bank card but not my bank account.
If I want to buy something from another member of the site,do I have to connect it to my account or can I just use my card like I do on eBay?

Nah...it works like any other credit/debit transaction. Paypal is the clearinghouse--they run your credit card then pass the money on to the seller, minus their fee.
