Hey, at least it's only rain! Over here, we had snow again for the last two days :x This past weekend, I was practically on your doorstep (Langley) and you guys already have grass growing and flowers blooming! No fair!

I miss living in Kamloops...I was there for 6 years...
least you know in the Winter it's as cold as a geddie up with lots of Snow,
and SMOKING hot in the Summer!..I am really growing tired of all the Rain we have had this year!

Heck, if I had known I was coming, I would have PM'd you. The trip was a last minute, whirlwind drive-all-night deal. I was helping a friend pick up a KTM that was for sale in Langley. We left Friday, drove all night, loaded up the bike, turned around and headed home. We weren't in Langley for more than 2 hours!

Maybe this summer there will be a more leisurely trip - hopefully timed to coincide with a Vancruisers ride.

and travell back 10 hours!

1960's Western Flyer.
Stock Frame,Forks,Bars,Front Wheel
Brooks b-72 Saddle
Bontraiger Wide White Walls
Rear Wheel set from Donor Bike...Nexus 3 Speed
Shifter Lever from 70's 5 speed bike
Custom Shifter added onto 5 speed lever
Antique Glass door knob
Custom bullet grips ( 50 Cal center..7mm wrapped )
Front Fender was Dremmeled out of Stock fender
Chain Ring from Donor bike..Modge Podge art and Stars.
Frame is finished in Krylon"Make it suede"
Rims finished in Gloss "Alpha Romea" red.
Chain is Stock
Custom Tank / Head is based on an Offenhauser Flat head
..made from a "Bass Wood base" and Bulsa Wood strips
Vinyl stripes and lettering

I had fun building it.
...and even more fun watching everyone else build theirs!

the bike looks great man! I realy like all the smaller details, but they definitley came together for the overall look on the bike. Its cool to see a picture of you next to your bike too... it gives you a sense of how big the bike is.
