I hear this used to be a hopping place back in the day

The door says "No Swimming After 10" but there is no pool in sight... :|

How long has it been since gas cost 43.9¢?

Back when gas still contained lead, I guess.

Forced rust on the seat post and clamp.

Love this one end-to-end, top-to-bottom!

I just noticed the fact this vintage bike is running tires with a .com address on them!

Crazy juxtaposition, man....

Keep it for a while, it's just too cool to build and sell.

Cheers,
Dr. T

That turned out great Cameron! Those gas pumps are worth some bucks, you think they would miss them if we decided to clean up the area?? I think you should enter one of those pics in the calendar photo thingy!

the tires are too modern looking....need to lose the .com address and the modern looking white lettering.

I recently bought a Hoggy G tire from 3g bikes and it had red lettering, flames and the .com address on the sidewalls.

I removed all of the red lettering and the flames and now it looks A LOT better in my opinion.

What did you use to remove the lettering?

I am bringing it with me tomorrow so you can get a personal look at it.

to remove the lettering on my tire i used a dremel with a nylon brush attachement that they sell. the brush took the lettering right off.
I have removed white lettering from schwinn o.c.c. tires with laquer thinner and fine steel wool as well. the lettering on most tires is just a hot stamp decal of sorts.

I saw this bike in person today! Even took it for a test ride! Looks awesome & rides like a dream! :D 8)
