sachs vt5000 used on malvern star long frame with ape hanger

Hi guys

Just to get everyone's attention i thought i'd show the bike i used with the sachs vt5000 before i asked a question about it:

Anyway, i've sourced a guy on ebay who seems to run across the front hub (sachs vt5000) quite often and is selling used ones, so i asked him what kind of bike they're coming off.

he's being sarcastic and giving rhetorical, rude answers. i don't know if he's guarding a secret or something, but i can't find any info about them other then that they're used on lay-back tricycles and weird extended utility bikes.

Does anyone have any idea what kind of bicycle these might come off for this guy to be needing hide a secret about where he's getting them?

sorry to correct, its not a malvern star long frame at all, its only a baby one.

hi cheers i did google and find that they're used on recumbents but just wanted to see whether that's the only place they come.
