Salt Flyer visits Speed Week and Salt Flats

So, I took the "Salt Flyer" (or maybe "Salt Liner" fits better?) bike out to the Salt Flats today to spectate the Speed Week Land Speed Racing. If you're a car nut, racing nut, you need to make the trip at least once. If nothing else, for the spectacular street cars (roadsters mostly) that drive around in the pits. I'll let the pictures speak for me, 'cause I'd just hose it up.

I really enjoyed the pics. Being a salt flat fan from the upper midewest is a bit of a let down as the closest thing like it to us is Snowmobile drags on our frozen lakes. Feel free to post more pics ( hint, hint ) as they are appreciated up here. Cheers
