braided stainless is awesome. glitter grips go well with the lettering.
I can second that, even though I personally don't like the bars themselves...
They go with the flow of the bike, but I think they are bit to huge

I like this way better myself.
Looks good either way.

Me too brother! I'm just glad the FloCycle didn't break in half when we were riding. :)
It was that ride when the repair welds failed.

I did get another fountain shot today from the same spot we were at.

Yeah, I thought the grips worked well with the seat and lettering.
Use a combination of electrical tape and a cross section of skinny inner tube for the braided stainless. I only did one side so far. I really like it, but I want to make sure by looking at it for a couple of days.

Played around with a couple of other grips, but I like the WF glitter grips the best.

I am pleased with how the guard came out. With the humidity that we have the paint still hasn't cured quite enough to put any mounting screws on it though.

I finally installed a chain on the bike for the first time since I removed the skiptooth from it. Had to snip a little more fender off for clearance. The guard is just resting on the chain for these mockups.

Also I love how the Primo fatty tenderizer pedals are working with the bike!

Wow this is really starting to look "kingfishy"..

The braid looks good on those bars. Makes them not look so thin maybe? Those gold grip area a great match.

Ha.. You posted pics while I was posting. The red under the triple ducktails looks awesome!

Oh cool, I missed how the light was catching the ducktails just right in that photo. That is the way that @yeshoney painted them. I loved it then so I taped it off when I repainted the topside of them. I love these fenders!!!

I was wondering about the compact cockpit, but it was no problem to ride. I rode around town for almost an hour before the wife called me home to go out to dinner. the bike did well on its shakedown run. I only had to adjust the front wheel once and tighten the bars a little. There is a problem with the front fender screw not grabbing enough and slowly loosening. Luckily it didn't go down enough to rub or puncture the tire. I'll have to address that for sure.

Here are the pics from the ride. The sun really pops on this bike!!

You have a yeshoney fender, I have a yeshoney fork. I wonder who else got parts from him?

Thanks for the honest opinion my friend. I know the bars aren't gonna be for everyone, but I really love them. The relative grip position to the stem isn't much different to many other bars. They are about the same width as the longhorns I had been using. But they do have a forward thrusting mass for sure. To me that is their appeal. Ever since I saw my first pair of Murray Mark 3 bars (which these are designed from somewhat) I wanted some. I loved @karfer67 's Galt Town Hooligan and later Bighit's Sidewalk Super Villain Supernaut. After riding around and feeling and seeing them in the real world rather than just in my shop and courtyard, I wouldn't swap them out for anything.
