OK...I'll say something...I hate Iron Horse.

Good bikes, bad company. I worked there for a bit and I gotta say he was thee worst person I have ever worked for.
Nice save btw...here's my '94 ARS 800, which is for sale if anyone's interested.

Looks good. I picked an Iron Horse bike MT70 I think, from the throwaways at a thrift shop. You know it had to be junk if a thrift store put it in the dumpster. Nope, it was just caked with mud and needed to be tuned up. Nice alloy wheels. It is now the transportation for an old man in Grand Forks, ND.

Nice one, IH made great bikes(love my 7 point 3), that one would make a dandy single speed conversion project.

RE: the above comments; Looks like IH is headed for oblivion right now, they lost the DW link license and stop producing those this month only a few models being produced at all for 2009, on the mtbr forum similar comments, good bikes bad Co.

BmxerPete..What year do you think my bike is..? This is a good start for now shur beats some of my other M.T.B.s
Your bike is sweet Love the chrome..what is yours worth.....? I'm gonna keep it a 21 speed no Fixed Gear action for that one.
The kick stand is a Stock one with a little help from a Lawn mower blade for balance.. it will look better with Rattle Can action..Black..
I would like to get something like this next..

Jay,

Your Iron Horse is probably a 2000 or maybe a 2001, and I'm pretty sure that was the last year for the "A- Frame" design. The '99s were still polished aluminum like mine.
It's a good light and stiff frame, good basis to build a nice trail bike out of. Or paint it flat green and black and build a "Rat Patrol" bike!
I really don't know what mine is worth...it's not really a "vintage" mtb like a Ritchey or a Breeze, although it is a time capsule to 1994. It's still built up with all the stuff I put on it in '94/ '95 when I was working at IH. I robbed the wheels from it for my wife's bike, but if you're interested I'll make you a heck of a deal on the rest.

Pete
