I find it hard to pick one. But I think the 'Little Thrasher' because its tough as a nail and fun to ride.
My other favorites are The Wingman, Bullet and the Roadslayer (that engine grunt!).
I do not play online and very often, but currently saving for the 'hotbomb'
I grew up with Carmageddon 1 (1997) and Carmageddon 2. Always had a soft spot for vehicular combat, damage models, ratrods, engine roars and hard soundtracks. Are you farmiliar with Carmageddon?
What are your favorite vehicles in Wreckfest?
These guys have the current rights to Carmageddon, so anticipating such a game with Wreckfest damage models.

I haven't played online yet myself (I would get destroyed!) but I have unlocked everything through the tournament challenges save for a few liveries, since I haven't completed Career Mode yet. Wreckfest is my go-to game for when I want to play something for a bit without having to refresh myself on the controls. It's just plain-and-simple fun! I especially enjoy customizing cars whenever I need a break from racing.
Got any favorite tracks or derby arenas? My go-to favorite track is the Hellride track, with Deathloop being a close 2nd. I also love derbying in Madman Stadium.
I know that one of the cars you can unlock through the Tournament Challenges is the Eagle-R from Carmageddon 4, and there are even a few Carmageddon maps in the game too!
I only know of Carmageddon through Wreckfest. When those games first came out, I was just a little kid. And honestly, I doubt my parents would've let me play it until I was much older anyway. The racing games I grew up playing the most were Need for Speed, from Hot Pursuit 2 all the way to ProStreet, (except for Most Wanted 2005,) Midnight Club 2, 3 and L.A., and my personal favorite, Burnout Revenge. There were also a few NASCAR games, ATV Off-Road Fury 1-3, MX Unleashed, MX vs. ATV Unleashed, Flatout 2, and Motorstorm/Motorstorm: Apocalypse. In fact, nearly all the games I grew up playing were racing games!
I need to drive the rest of my fleet more often (including the HotBomb,) but if I had to pick a 2nd favorite after the Wingman, it'd have to be the War Wagon! The thing's got plenty of grunt, it can take a beating, and it's surprisingly nimble and easy to control!
It would be neat to see more arcade racers these days, but I'm not sure when (or if) that's ever going to happen. The genre's been lacking quite a bit since the mid-2000s. Still, there's always hope. If Bugbear does make a Carmageddon game with the same polish and finesse as Wreckfest, it's bound to be good!
It's always fun to see all these different hobbies and interests cross over! I was a car-guy long before I got into bikes, and I've been playing video games for almost as long as I've been into cars! Throw in my love for art and building stuff out of LEGO, K'NEX or anything else, and building custom bikes just seems like a natural addition to my list of hobbies and interests!Interesting how we have similar tastes on this forum and between ratrodders/bikers in general

I really like 'Boulder Bank Circuit'. Fast and dangerous. Many rocks, trees where high speed collision is possible. It makes it extra thrilling when you are pushing your opponent side-by-side.
The last (2015?) Carmageddon; Max Damage is ok, but a little disappointing in my opinion.
Carmageddon 1 and 2 are just awesome. The soundtracks (Fear Factory and Iron Maiden), the VERY creative vehicles and the damage models.
- Carmageddon 1 is just hardcore demolition racing, you can crash really hard without completely annihilating your vehicle. The box cover said it best: "Racing for the chemically imbalanced"
- Carmageddon 2 is a little less forgiving, but I deeply enjoy the later races where you have a mix of big rigs and small buggy's. When a lighter vehicle gets underneath you, you really crush your opponent. (I'm trying to describe a feeling of vehicular satisfaction here).
Anyway, sorry I got a little excited there, we probably have to go for a bike ride and beer sometime

Boulder Bank Circuit's an adrenaline rush! I haven't raced on that course much outside of Career Mode and Tournament Challenges. I need to change that.

Small update on Schwindecisve:
At the moment, my dad's sandblaster isn't working (again,) and we won't know whether or not we can fix it until next week. I'm hesitant to start any serious work on this bike until I know for sure that I can sandblast the old powder coat off the bike and all its parts. If we can fix the sandblaster soon, then I know I can get this bike ready to ride in short order. If the sandblaster can't be fixed soon, then I'm either going to have to hold off on building this bike until the sandblaster does get fixed, or I'm going to have to pay someone else to sandblast it for me, and probably be disappointed with the results. I might also consider entering a different bike in the Build Off, but I don't know. I'll just have to wait and see.

Do that! She's amazing! I follow her on the tube since a long time and she's also a regular in a very popular german TV-show for kids that explaines complicated stuff in a very simple way (Sendung mit der Maus)

I actually got this homemade swing bike from a buddy of mine a couple years ago. It's too rough to build in my opinion, but it makes for a good template to reverse-engineer. I think a swing bike would be a good first bike for me to weld on, as I've got plenty of material to work with, and even if the bike doesn't turn out "pretty," it can at least still be fun to ride!

Got a few more updates to share!
Last week, I skimmed through my collection of bikes and parts to see what all I could use on Schwindecisive. First, I dug into my collection of wheels and tires.
These black wheels are definitely going to find their way on this bike. I don't know if the whitewall Jerald slicks will, but it's possible.
These 2 wheels and tires were what I had on the bike during the last build, and they're still good to go.
I've also got plenty of chrome wheels like this, and odds are I'll use these too. I don't know about these Walmart whitewalls though. I've never been the biggest fan of the tread pattern on these, but they're still totally usable.
I have these pink wheels I pulled from a free parts bike, and while pink's not one of my favorite colors, I think I could make them work on this bike.
They might even work with these "putrid pink" or magenta fenders and handlebar grips. I actually painted that fender years ago when I needed to see the bike in one color so I could decide whether or not I wanted to bob the fenders. That's also why the paint job looks terrible; it was only meant to be temporary.
I've also got these 2 rusty wheels (and some blue handlebar grips) on this JC Higgins I bought cheap a couple years ago. I'm a little hesitant to part this bike out as I love the blue paint on it, but I did buy it for the parts, so...
I did a little test a while back where I rubbed some of the rust off with some rubbing compound. Not only was I able to remove some of the rust, but I also got the white and red paint to pop as well! These wheels could look good on this Schwinn, patina or not.
I've got tons of whitewall tires I pulled from donor bikes over the years. Most of them are dry and slick, but some are still good enough to be usable.
I've also got a few more whitewalls and blackwalls hanging on my sissy bar tire rack.
I might even steal the rear tire off the first bike I ever built, Dumpster Diamond. Truth be told, this bike hasn't gone more than a mile at most since I built it back in 2020. There's some issue with the drivetrain, and I never got around to assessing it. Now that I'm working on making this Schwinn bare metal, it's giving me some fresh ideas on how to rebuild my first bare metal bike...
I also have these 2 26"x2.5" GT Smoothie slicks. I don't know if I'll use them on this Schwinn, as I already have plans to use them on a couple other bikes, but who knows.
I also have these colored wheels that may use on this bike. I've had the cream tires on burnt orange wheels almost as long as I've had the Schwinn, and I'd still like to throw them on this bike at some point. The peach-colored wheels on the right could be good too.
These mint green wheels could also be nice on this bike. I even have some grips and a seat that almost match!

Wheels and tires weren't all I was cataloguing though! I got more parts to play around with!
I want to use this mint green seat, as I got a pair of match grips and even a set of wheels to go with it.
Problem is, the seat springs aren't seated correctly. I swear there's a way to fix this seat, but I don't know how. If anybody knows how to straighten out this seat, that would be great.
I also have a couple brown seats, but both have issues. This one is pretty worn out, with a few tears and a bit of rust. It'd work if I was building a more patina'd bike, but I'm going for a cleaner look this time around.
The good news is, I have a mint-condition brown exercise bike seat, and it's even Schwinn-branded! The bad news is that it's way too big for this bike, and it doesn't have any springs, so it's not going to be the most ideal for regular riding.
Those aren't the only seats I have though. I've got plenty of black cruiser seats, some new, some old, but I'd like to throw a little color on this bare metal bike sometimes. That's where this blue seat and blue handlebar grips come in. These came off another freebie I picked up a few months ago, and since blue is my favorite color, I got to use these on this Schwinn at some point!
I also have these red-and-white pedals, red grips, and red-and-white seat on a JC Higgins Flightliner. I plan to repaint that bike in something other than red, so maybe I could use those parts on this Schwinn. Admittedly, red is not my favorite color, but I've seen how good read and white look on other bare metal bikes, so I won't knock it 'til I try it on mine.
I also have these red Western Flyer grips from my Columbia/Western Flyer Newsboy Special. I could probably even use the wheels off that bike too.
I've got some oddball parts to throw at this Schwinn too. I've got this red acrylic bug guard that'd make a great transparent tank!
And I've got this cool perforated sheet metal that'd make a nice tank as well.
I also checked my paint supply to see what colors I have as well. I don't have the best variety of colors to play with, but I've got enough to get started.

I found a few close matches, but nothing exact, especially not for the burnt orange or pink wheels. At some point I'd like to learn how to paint my own wheels, but given how that normally involves disassembling the wheels, then reassembling and truing them, something I haven't done before myself, I'd like to just use the wheels as-is and paint everything else to match them.
Yesterday I mocked up a few more parts.
First I tried out some Schwinn truss rods that didn't fit just right. These might be better to use without a front fender, as I only have one front fender with truss rod indentations.
Next, I mocked up a bunch of chain guards. Some bolt right on, while others need a little help to fit this bike. Some look good to me, others not so much. I won't really know which ones work and which don't until I get everything down to one color again, be it digitally or in person. Personally, I still don't think any of these chain guards look as good as the original feathered chain guard, but that could change depending on what other parts I have on the bike, like the fenders.
That's all the major updates I have on Schwindecisive for now. I still don't know if I'll ever be able to sandblast this bike and all the other parts, or if I'll have to wire brush everything until it's good enough. Hopefully I'll find out soon, because a month has already gone by, and this month already has a few things going on that will slow this project down. Hopefully I'll be able to knock this bike out in time, but I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see.

Man, I'm jealous of your parts hoard! Lots of choices. I like the black wheels with whitewalls, the rusty wheels and the orange wheels with cream tires, but they would all look good.
I'm using the Park tools videos as a guide to learn wheel building. The videos are pretty thorough.

Haha, thanks! This whole parts hoard began years ago all because of this Schwinn, back when I first got the idea to switch up the look of the bike whenever I felt like it. It'll be nice to finally use up these parts!

I just skimmed through the first video now. I'll definitely check out the rest of the series. I think I could disassemble, paint, and lace my own wheels just fine on my own, but I think I'll want some help from one of my local bike friends to help me with truing my wheels.
